Herbal Tincture for Erectile Dysfunction

A “tincture” is an extraction of active compounds from plant material that uses alcohol as a solvent.  Active ingredients in herbs are more easily extracted by alcohol than by other liquids such as glycerin, vinegar or heat. If alcohol cannot be used, alternatives, such as apple cider vinegar or wine vinegar, are used.

The herbs in Herbal Tincture for Erectile Dysfunction can improve blood circulation in the penile tissues, especially the corpus cavernosum. They work synergistically to enhance the nerve impulses that increase the blood flow to the penile cylinders, helping the penis to expand, straighten and stiffen faster. These effects help overcome erectile dysfunction. (LearnAging & ED)

The synergy of these herbs result in many other beneficial factors, such as:

  • Uninhibited expansion of all penile cylinders
  • Support of erectile tissue health
  • Improvement of blood flow to the penis
  • Improvement of erectile function, including stiffness and angle
You Will Need

Herbal Blend

18 grams of Rehmannia Glutinosa (Shu Di Huang)
15 grams of Epimedium Grandiflorum (Yin Yang Huo)
12 grams of Cuscuta Chinensis (Tu Si Zi)
10 grams of Cnidium Monnieri (She Chuang Zi)
8 grams of Cistanches Desertecolae (Rou Cong Rong)
8 grams of Dioscorea Opposita (Shan Yao)
8 grams of Alisma plantago (Ze Xie)
8 grams of Paeonia suffruticosa Cortex (Mu Dan Pi)
8 grams of Cornus Officinalis (Shan Zhu Yu)
8 grams of Poria Cocos (Fu Ling)

Preparation
  1. Pour the herbal blend into the jar.
  2. Add vodka, rum or brandy to cover the herbs.
  3. Seal the jar to prevent leakage or evaporation.
  4. Store the jar in a dry, dark area.
  5. Add more alcohol over the next few days as the dried herbs soak and expand.
  6. Store the jar for a minimum of  two weeks or a maximum of three months.
Ready to Drink
  1. Strain the tincture through a sieve. Use a cheesecloth to empty the contents into another jar or storage container.
  2. Extract the remaining tincture by squeezing the saturated herbs. Transfer the liquid into a dropper bottle and refrigerate the remaining tincture.
  3. Drink two teaspoons right after lunch and dinner. If you can’t stand the taste, dilute the tincture with water, juice or tea.
If you are worried about the tiny fragments or residue passing through the cheesecloth, filter the sieve twice using a coffee filter.

Herb Benefits
By improving blood flow and penile tissue health, your body will promote more erections. By isolating the anti-oxidant flavonoids from the herbs, while leaving out as much of the terpenes and chlorophylls as possible, your body will benefit from the natural healing properties of these herbs. For example, Cistanche, a tonifying herb, augments the essence of blood to minimize back pain as well as alleviate impotence caused by erectile dysfunction. Poria Cocos – an herb that drains dampness and promotes urination--helps eliminate painful dribbling. It is known to calm the spirit and quiet the heart, helping alleviate anxiety-related erectile dysfunction. While Cuscuta helps improve the duration of an erection.

Tips
Prepare the tincture carefully per the specifications, and store it in an airtight, dark-colored container. Keep the container at or below room temperature. It is okay to store the tincture in the refrigerator, but be sure to label the jars clearly in order to prevent family members from inadvertently drinking the contents. Avoid using plastic containers. The ethanol in the tincture may solubilize some of the free vinyl substances in the plastic, causing PBA might leak out. Never use stainless steel containers for long-term storage.
